摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a surface light source device which exhibits an angle of field having a two-dimensionally high homogeneity factor and in which finely uneven brightness is suppressed, and to provide a liquid crystal display device and a light guide plate used for the same. CONSTITUTION: The light guide plate for the surface light source device to illuminate a liquid crystal panel has a large number of micro reflectors 20 on a back surface 34. Light beams P1 and P2 representing inside input light are internally reflected in order of inclined planes 21 and 22 or in order of the inclined planes 22 and 21, and inside output light Q1 and Q2 turning to a light-emitting plane 33 is formed. The attitude of the micro reflector 20 is changed from a reference attitude around an x, y, and z axis, respectively and the light beams Q1 and Q2 are introduced in the light-emitting plane 33 in traveling directions which are three-dimensionally different with each other. This difference is amplified by refraction when light beams are emitted from the light-emitting plane 33. The finely uneven brightness corresponding to the formation position/blank position of the micro reflector 20 is suppressed, because luminous flux is already expanded when inside output light reaches the light-emitting plane 33.
