RAKE RECEIVER AND RAKE RECEPTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a RAKE receiver that can always obtain excellent reception quality while adapting to a change in a propagation environment. SOLUTION: The RAKE receiver is provided with a plurality of fading compensation means 121-12k that respectively apply fading compensation to outputs with respect to spread codes obtained by correlation means 101-10k, a selection means 130 that selectively outputs outputs of the fading compensation means 121-12k, a combining means 131 that applies combining process to an output of the selection means 130 to obtain a demodulation result, a reception quality estimate means 132 to estimate the reception quality on the basis of the outputs of the fading compensation means 121-12k, and a selection control means 135 that decides the output of the selection means 130 from the estimate result by the reception quality estimate means 132.
