PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity of a product using a load control device and to reduce the cost by stably controlling the load control device for detecting the operation of a small current switch and controlling the load also by a large current switch for directly controlling the load. SOLUTION: Productivity of the product using the load control device is improved and the cost is reduced by interposing the load control device between a power source and the load by connecting the load control device with a switch in series, interposing a semiconductor switch of the load control device in series between the load and the switch, periodically performing a conduction control of the semiconductor switch when an input monitoring part of the load control device detects an OFF state of the switch, making large current flow to the switch by continuously performing the conduction control of the semiconductor switch when the input monitoring part detects an ON state of the switch and enabling a stable current control by the switch.
