PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of timbres to be simultaneously produce according to the manipulated variable of a pedal manipulating element. SOLUTION: This electronic musical instrument has the pedal manipulating element which can be manipulated within a prescribed range of manipulation variable, an instructing means which instructs for the formation and formation stop of the musical tones, a musical tone forming means which forms the musical tones according to the instructing means described above and a control means which controls the sound volume of the musical tones formed by the musical tone forming means according to the manipulated variable of the pedal manipulating element/and controls the musical tone forming means so as to form the musical tone of the first timbre according to the instruction of the instructing means when the manipulated variable of the pedal manipulating element is below the prescribed value and controls the musical tone forming means so as to form the musical tone of the second timbre different from the first timbre together with the musical tone of the first timbre according to the instruction of the instructing means when the manipulated variable of the pedal manipulating element changes from the prescribed value or below to the prescribed value or above. |
