PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance visibility of images other than main images, and easily and steadily enable operations responding to the displayed other images. SOLUTION: A first phosphor layer 34a, for displaying the main images with monochrome, is formed on the inner face of a screen panel 31 of a flat cathode-ray tube 30, and a second phosphor layer 34b for displaying images other than the main images with color is formed on the inner face of a front panel 32. The second phosphor layer 34b is arranged corresponding to the forming region of the first phosphor layer 34a. A touch screen 16, having a touch sensor installed corresponding to the region for displaying the other images, is arranged at the outside of a front panel 32.
