PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase levitation power of a rotor. SOLUTION: A magnetic levitation motor 1 for rotating the rotor 3 in a levitated state relative to a fixed stator 2 is provided with a DC magnetic field generating means 4 for forming a radial magnetic flux on a shaft in the stator 2 and the rotor 3, the first stator winding 6 for generating the levitation controlling magnetic flux 5 for levitating and controlling the rotor 3 in the radial direction and the second stator winding 7 for generating a rotating magnetic field for rotating the rotor 3. The rotor 3 has a yoke 9 and a motor magnet 10 opposite to a stator core 8 of the stator 2. |
