SOLUTION: In the electron gun for a cathode-ray tube comprising, in positional order, a cathode 1 for emitting electrons toward a displaying screen, a G2 electrode 4 on which a higher voltage than the voltage on the cathode is applied, a Gm electrode 41 on which a predetermined voltage is applied, and a G3 electrode 5 on which a higher voltage than the voltage on the G2 electrode 4 is applied, the Gm electrode 41 comprises a support electrode part 412 which has holes of almost the same diameter as that of the passage hole diameter of the electron beam of the G2 electrode 4 and is supported by the bead glass, and a perforated electrode part 411 fixed to this support electrode part, having passage holes smaller than the passage holes of the electron beam of the G2 electrode 4.
