PURPOSE: A piezoelectric ceramic composition containing compounds represented by formula (Na1-xLix)NbO3 and having a perovskite structure as a main component is provided wherein the piezoelectric ceramic composition provides a product having a higher mechanical quality factor Qm. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric ceramic composition comprises a compound comprising Na, Li, Nb and O and having a perovskite structure, and having a crystal phase which is semi-stable at room temperature and stable at a higher temperature. The crystal phase in the piezoelectric ceramic composition has a monoclinic form, and the compound is represented by formula (Na1-xLix)NbO3, wherein 0.02d"xd"0.30.
