<p>A method and apparatus for simultaneously measuring voltage and current in a primary high voltage conductor (501). A current (505) and a voltage (V out) from the primary conductor is monitored. The current and voltage information present on the current transformer secondary winding is separated. The voltage information present on the current transformer secondary winding is used to provide a voltage measurement output proportional to the voltage present on the primary conductor. The current information present on the current transformer secondary winding is used to provide a current measurement output (I out) proportional to the current flowing on the high voltage conductor.</p> |
