<p>There is described an air amplifying system (1) comprising an amplifying flu id jet (3) provided with a fluid inlet (4) and a fluid outlet (5), the fluid outlet being linked to an outlet nozzle (6) via an amplifying passage (7), t he amplifying passage also being linked to a powder chamber (8), said chamber being adapted for non-laminar powder flow, such that fluid travelling from t he fluid outlet of the jet draws extraneous air and aerosolised powder through the powder chamber so that the extraneous air and aerosolised powder mix wit h the amplifying fluid in the amplifying passage and the amplified mixture exi ts through the outlet nozzle. There is also described a powder delivery device comprising such an air amplifying system and a method of treatment related thereto.</p> |
