The invention relates to the mining industry, in particular the design structure of a load-bearing element. The aim of the invention is to develop the load-bearing element which makes it possible to more effectively distribute a pressure amongst the parts thereof during the operation. The peripheral parts of the body of the inventive device are connected to the central part thereof with the aid of a groove-notch joint. In order to prevent the rotation of the constituent elements of the body with respect to each other, a groove provided with a fixing plate is embodied on the external surface along the generating line of each element of the body. An elastic chamber having a tubular shape and spacer inserts is arranged inside the body coaxially thereto. The regular and devoid of tilts displacement of the split elements of the body of the load-bearing element is ensured by a guiding groove arranged on the internal surface of the body. The projections of the spacer inserts embodied in the form of projecting cants move in said guiding groove during the operational cycle.
