An automotive interior has a 'soft-touch' lining material for e.g. door or facia, consisting of a top layer, intermediate layer, lower layer and injection-moulded base layer. The intermediate layer (2) is esp. a voluminous, compressive-elastic fleece material with pref. a vertical fibre array. The lower layer (3) is separated from the intermediate layer (2) by a barrier foil. Within the soft-touch lining material the fleece fibres are arrayed in diagonal or perpendicular presentation to web-type material. The fleece material has a density of 150 to 450 g/m 2>and is 2 - 7 mm thick, incorporates 5-30 per cent thermoplastic binding fibres and up to 50 per cent recuperated fibre. The upper layer (1) is a textile panel, foil synthetic or natural leather. The lower layer (3) is a bonded elastic barrier foil. The layers (1, 2, 3) are bonded together by a hotmelt agent.
