PURPOSE: To solve the problem that, when the width of an ink reservoir of an inking unit is changed, it is necessary to replace an ink fountain regulating plate or to assemble an expensive ink reservoir dividing controller. CONSTITUTION: The inking unit 17 comprises an ink fountain roller 18, the ink fountain regulating plate 19 having a distal end which position is regulated in an approaching state to an outer peripheral surface of the roller 18, and a pair of side plates 22 for forming the ink reservoir 21 for storing the ink of the roller 18 stood on the plate 19 and the plate 19 so that an arcuate distal end face surrounds a part of the outer periphery of the roller 18. The inking unit 17 further comprises a permanent magnet embedded at a bottom side of the pair of the plates 22 contacted with the plate 19 to fix the pair of the plates 22 to desired positions of the plate 19, in such a manner that the pair of the plates 22 are movable along a direction parallel to an axis of the roller 18 to the plate 19.
