The invention relates to a removable seat of a motor vehicle, characterised in that the mechanical fixing device is designed for electrical energy transmission and/or data transmission. To this end, the fixing device consists of hooks (40), for example, comprising metal rods (42) provided in the vehicle. Said hooks (40) have contact surfaces which come into contact with the metal rods (42) in order to establish the electrical connection. If only the electrical energy is transmitted via the fixing device, an emitter/receiver station is also provided in the vehicle seat, by which means data can be transmitted.
