<p>This invention relates to a method for separation of the differentiation process and the process of recruitment of mammalian osteoclasts comprising an initial culture period, cultivating a CD-14 positive monocyte cell culture, followed by detachment of the osteoclasts from the substratum and subsequent reseeding of the osteoclasts in an appropriate recruitment assay, in the presence of differention factors as RANKL and M-CSF.</p> |
