<p>PURPOSE:To perform fast feed in a short time in spite of the quality of a magnetic tape by switching the feed of the magnetic tape to a second feed path when feed speed less than prescribed speed is detected by a tape speed detecting means. CONSTITUTION:It is discriminated whether or not the interval of a pulse signal detected by a frequency generator 11 which detects the rotation of a take-up side reel board 8 is less than a prescribed value be a tape speed detection circuit 18. When the former exceeds the latter, the output of the circuit is inputted to a system control circuit 19, and the feed of the magnetic tape 1 is stopped by a motor driving circuit 17 by the command of the control circuit, and also, a loading motor 21 is operated by controlling a motor driving circuit 20. As a result, the feed path of the magnetic tape 1 is changed in such a way that the positions of loading posts 4,6 on a first feed path are switched to the positions of loading posts 4',6' on a second feed path. In other words, the second feed path in which the magnetic tape is fed to the take-up reel board 8 via a supply side reel board 2, and posts 3,7 is comprised.</p> |
