PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a conventional power generation plant apparatus using a sole plate requires much labor and a maintenance-control cost since lubricating oil must be injected between the sole plate and a gland pad once a week. SOLUTION: This sole plate is placed on a foundation bed via the gland pad for installing a turbine. The sole plate has a sole plate body composed of an iron material, and a sliding surface formed on a surface of the sole plate body and composed of a self-lubricatable resin material or a self-lubricatable resin composite material including a filler.
