SOUND INSULATING WALL STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulating wall structure for exhibiting high sound insulating performance while reducing influence on strength and fireproofness/ fire resistance of a building. SOLUTION: A wall panel 2 is incorporated between columns 1 and 1. The wall panel 2 has a square frame 3. A vertical muntin 4 is fixed at the upper and lower ends to upper and lower frame parts of the square frame 3. This vertical muntin 4 is composed of a steel square pipe material, and has low rigidity indicating elastic behavior in an allowable range as a wall surface component. A horizontal muntin 5 is composed of channel steel, and is fixed at the left and right ends to left and right frame parts of the square frame 3, and compensates for low rigidity of the vertical muntin 4. An elastic cushioning material 6 is contractively installed in a space part of a grade separation place of the vertical muntin 4 and the horizontal muntin 5. The vertical muntin 4 and the horizontal muntin 5 are elastically connected by the elastic cushioning material 6.
