PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber treating agent soft for the skin, excellent in antifouling property, water absorbing property, moisture retaining property and antistatic property, to provide a fiber treating agent composition, to provide a method for treating fiber, and to provide a treated fiber treated by the method for treating. SOLUTION: This treating agent for fiber comprises a polymer containing a phosphorylcholine analogous group-epoxy group, as the active component, which has a constituent unit based on a monomer containing a phosphorylcholine analogous group having a specific structure and a consisting unit based on a monomer containing epoxy group. And the other treating agent for fiber comprises a binder component of the polymer containing a phosphorylcholine analogous group-epoxy group and a polymer having an amino, carboxyl or hydroxyl group.
