PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a material to be recorded, which is excellent in water resistance and sticking resistance, has a small degree of bleeding, is excellent in clearness of a recorded picture and further excellent in ink absorbency. SOLUTION: In this material to be recorded, an ink absorbing layer, which consists of a vinyl alcohol-based polymer (A) and a maleic anhydride-based polymer (B) under the condition that the weight compounding ratio (B)/(A) is 0.1/99.9 to 40/60, is provided in a supporting base or on its surface. |
