PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for supplying an ink and water for a printer which can supply a water-containing ink suitable for printing without influence of ink properties or operating state, and which can synthesize the water-containing ink stable in keyless inking. SOLUTION: In lithographic printing, the method for supplying the ink and the water for the printer comprises the steps of measuring a thickness of a water film transferred and formed on a surface of a printing plate 7 on a plate cylinder 14 separated from the water-containing ink, and controlling the amount of a raw ink and the amount of the water to regulate the water content of the water-containing ink. |
