PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design a belt system of continuously variable transmission, using a ball screw system of small size and in a rational way, and also to make it silent. SOLUTION: This system is constituted, so that when a nut 12 side of a ball screw system 5 is fixed to a casing 8 and a screw shaft 11 side is rotatably connected to a movable pulling part 3 for moving it in the axial direction, a ball-circulating part at a nut 12 side will not rotate, and a belt system of continuously variable transmission can be designed in small size and rationally, by turning the ball-circulating part with low load-bearing capacity to such a direction that the load will not be applied to the ball screw system 5 and protects it from noise emission due to the vibration of balls in the ball- circulating part.
