PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DDCP of a large size having a high quality level/high stability and excellent printing coincidence. SOLUTION: An image forming material comprises an image receiving sheet having a coating layer including an image receiving layer on a support and a plurality of thermal transfer sheets each having a coating layer containing a photothermal conversion layer and an image forming layer on the support. In this material, a ratio of an optical density(OD)/layer thickness (unit: μm) of the OD of the image forming layer of each thermal transfer sheet to the layer thickness is 1.50 or more, an image recording area of each thermal transfer sheet is 515 mm or more × 728 mm or more, and a resolution of the transfer image is 2,400 dpi or more. The coating layer of the image receiving sheet and/or the coating layer of each thermal transfer sheet has at least one layer containing a dispersing agent and a matting agent having a mean particle size of 0.05 to 50 μm. The coating layer contains spherical fine particles having predetermined characteristics and/or acrylic polymer having predetermined characteristics as needed. |
