PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self seal tire which can be handled with ease and is excellent in dynamic balance without moving adhesive materials while a vehicle runs and causing environmental problems due to the volatilization of solvent and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This tire has a puncture seal layer 2 in all over the surface of a tire internal wall face 1X from a shoulder section S1 to the other shoulder section S2 of a pneumatic tire 1. The puncture seal layer 2 comprises a belt- shaped seal layer 5 provided with an adhesion layer 4 made of adhesive material Y in the tire wall face side face 3a of a belt-shaped sponge layer 3 in which adhesive material X is impregnated so as to be exposed to the side of a tire wall face and not to be exposed to the side opposite to the tire wall face, and the belt-shaped seal layer 5 is adhered to the tire internal wall face 1X through the adhesion layer 4, turned in the peripheral direction of the tire.
