PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer printer of a type which is compact, simple, easy to operate and disposable. SOLUTION: An image-receiving paper 4 and an ink bobbin 6 are stored in a cube or rectangular parallelepiped casing 1 without a projecting part at a manufacturing time. Side walls of the casing 1 constitute a part of a supporting part for supporting each part. The ink bobbin 6, a thermal head 20 and the image-receiving paper 4 are fixed by fixing members 61, 63 and 60 at a transfer time.
