PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blasting unit 1 capable of increasing effective opening area of an air outlet 8. SOLUTION: A housing 4 of the air blasting unit 1 has the air outlet 8 in a front face plate 4A and a fixed part 4a for fixing a protective net 9 around the air outlet 8. The fixed part 4a, when formed by cutting the air outlet 8 in the front face plate 4A, is formed by forming a remaining part having a certain height at the peripheral edge of the air outlet 8, and the remaining part is bent substantially rectangularly to the back side of the front face plate 4A to be raised. A fixing allowance of the protective net 9 facing the fixed part 4a of the housing 4 is provided around a protective surface for covering the air outlet 8, bent substantially rectangularly to the protective surface, and fixed to the fixed part 4a by screws or the like. In this constitution, the fixed part 4a is not required to be installed on the same plane as the air outlet 8 for the front face plate 4A, so that decrease of the effective opening area of the air outlet 8 by the fixed part 4a is prevented. |
