<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus with high security, capable of preventing inadvertent contact of a user with a high temperature part without deteriorating the function of rewriting and recording an image or damaging a recording medium. SOLUTION: In an image recording apparatus for erasing an existing image by heating with a heat roller 13 and recording a new image by selective heating per pixel unit by a thermal head with respect to a radio card 10 having an image display part allowing repeated recording and erasure of images according to the difference of thermal energies to be applied, a heat insulating case 14 surrounding the periphery except the part facing a conveyance path of the heat roller 13, having an opening part in a part facing the conveyance path is provided as well as heat roller moving means 22, 23 are provided for withdrawing and storing the heat roller 13 in the heat insulating case 14 at the time of waiting and moving the same to a position with a part thereof exposed from the opening part of the heat insulating case 14 so as to make contact with the surface of the radio card 10 being conveyed at the time of erasure heating.</p> |
