PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip member of a rope, capable of being attached to a cut tip part obtained by cutting a braid-shaped rope to a desired length by one-touch so as to form an outer fitted shape. SOLUTION: This tip member 1 is the one to be attached to the tip of braid- shaped rope 20, and consisting of a right storing part 3 and a left storing part 2 openable through a connecting shaft part 4, and the tip part sides of the right and left storing parts 3 and 2 are formed into cannonball shapes 3a and 2a. Engaging means 11 and 6 capable of keeping both storing parts 3 and 2 in a closed state when the right storing part 3 and the left storing part 2 are closed at the tip of the braid-shaped rope 20 so as to form the outer fitted shape.
