The electric motor power supply includes a pre-cabled module which provides for connection between three power supply terminals, and a switch with four terminals. The module includes at least one supplementary conductor. A combination of normally-open and normally closed poles provides dual speed operation of the motor. The electrical equipment for starting a motor includes a pre-cabled power module (6) connected to the power terminals of a switch (5). The pre-cabled module allows connection of three power terminals (2T1,4T2,6T3) to the terminals of the switch (5) which itself is tetra-polar. The module includes at least one supplementary conductor (9). The tetra-polar switch (5) includes two poles (P1, P4) which are normally open, and two poles (P2, P3) which are normally closed. The supplementary line (9) is connected to the module (6) and the terminal. The module provides a power connection enabling operation of the motor at two different speeds.
