PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene arrangement reading device capable of directly reading each code arrangement of four bases, namely, A(adenine), C(cytosine), G(guanine), or U(uracil), or T(thymine), in a single-chain RNA(ribonucleic acid) constituting DNA having a double helix structure in a chromosome. SOLUTION: In order to detect one specific base among A(adenine), C(cytosine), G(guanine), or U(uracil), or T(thymine), a base having gene information is bonded to the tip part of a metal probe through an adhesive binder in the nanometer order having strong bonding affinity to an organic functional group such as a carbon nanotube on the tip part of the metal probe, to thereby detect attraction generated by a hydrogen bond utilizing complementarity characteristic of the base. |
