PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording apparatus capable of executing a printing operation with an ink requiring a frequent cleaning operation in an appropriately maintained state with the cleaning operativity and the recoverability of the system after cleaning improved. SOLUTION: In an ink-jet recording apparatus comprising a plurality of ink-jet heads 1A having a plurality of nozzle openings for ejecting an ink from ink storage parts 7, 11, a cleaning liquid supply pipe 6 is provided via a switching valve 4 in the vicinity of the upper surface of a channel substrate 2A independently from an ink supply pipe 5 provided via a switching valve 3. |
