PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a precise present time at a built-in electronic clock without the intermediary of man power and to provide the set present time also to other electronic devices. SOLUTION: A CPU 21 monitors a signal from a decoding part 15 in a time- information-signal reception part. The present time of an RTC 24 is set at 0(zero) when the front of a time information signal on the hour in units of minutes is supplied. In succession, time information on an hour, a minute, a date, a day of the week or the like which is provided by the time information signal is recorded in a RAM 23. The CPU 21 sets the information such as the hour, the minute, the date, the day of the week or the like as a value other than a second numerical value in the RTC 24 by using the time information recorded in the RAM 23. |
