POLYAMIDE MONOFILAMENT AND USE OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide monofilament easy in compression deformation, excellent in bending abrasion resistance and bending fatigue resistance, and further excellent in antifouling property against gum pitch; usage of the monofilament to a textile to be mounted on a paper making machine; and an industrial textile such as a textile to be mounted on a paper making machine, represented by a paper making pressed felt having excellent water squeezing efficiency. SOLUTION: The polyamide monofilament has a compression deformation rate of >=5.6% and a number of times of bending abrasion needed before monofilament breakage of >=2.2×10<4> . The industrial textile is produced by using the monofilament at least in a part of the textile.
