PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate an engine by driving a motor for running without consuming fuel when the engine stops for a long time, and thereby to keep good condition. SOLUTION: When the engine has stopped for a predetermined time or larger and the condition of a secondary battery is good, a target speed Ne* of the engine is set (S104), and a target rotational number Nm1 * and a torque command value Tm1 * of a motor MG1 are calculated based on the set target speed Ne* (S106, 108). Then, torque T (Td*) of a motor MG2 meeting required torque Td* for an axle of a vehicle is added with cancel torque Tm1 /ρ canceling reaction torque Tm1 */ρ acting on the motor MG1 depending on the torque Tm1 * from the motor MG1 thereby to set torque command value Tm2 * of the motor MG2 (S110, 112), and the torque command values Tm1 *, Tm2 * and the target number of the rotations Nm1 * are outputted to an engine ECU (S114). |
