PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at a low cost a thermoplastic resin composition having not only excellent fluidity but also high mechanical strength or toughness, without incurring occurrence of bleed out or reduction of thermal resistance and durability and further impairing transparency. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition containing from 70 to 99% by mass of a specific thermoplastic resin (A) and from 1 to 30% by mass of a specific polyester resin (B), wherein the polyester resin (B) is composed of a specific acid component containing from 80 to 100 [% by mol] of aromatic dicarboxylic acid units and a specific alcohol component containing ethylene glycol units, wherein the difference between the refractive index (a) of the thermoplastic resin (A) and the refractive index (b) of the polyester resin (B) is 0.029 or less, and the melt viscosity Cb of the polyester resin (B) is less than 0.4 time the melt viscosity Ca (Pa.s) of the thermoplastic resin (A).
