<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display which can improve a manufacturing yield by expanding a margin of joining accuracy of a pair of substrates, and also has favorable display quality. SOLUTION: An array substrate 100 comprises switching elements 121 formed on an insulating board 11, an insulating film 24 deposited covering the switching elements 121, and pixel electrodes 151 arranged at each pixel on the insulating film 24 and connected with the switching elements 121 via contact holes formed on the insulating film 24. At least a part of end parts of each pixel electrode 151 has a narrower gap between itself and a counter electrode 204 compared with the other area, and also the pixel electrode 151 has a notched part 145 inside.</p> |
