PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate state body strength test device which evaluates the entire surface almost equally, selects the detective test body correctly and eliminates it, thereby avoiding a contamination of production facilities and normal plate state bodies and the like by the defective plate state body to increase the product yield of the production process. SOLUTION: The device comprises a pair of supporting parts 51 which support test body 6, and a pair of external force imparting parts 53 which applies external force to the test body 6. When the test body 6 is rectangular, the supporting part 51 are positioned at two opposite corners thereof, and the external force imparting parts 53 at the other two opposite corners, and when the test body 6 is circular, supporting parts 41 are positioned at two opposite corners of a square inscribed in the circle, and external force imparting parts 43 at the other two opposite corners thereof.
