PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition having good pearlescent gloss capable of being produced under good handling conditions and containing a stably dispersed pearlescent agent during preservation thereof. SOLUTION: The detergent composition having pearlescent gloss comprises (A) a pearlescent agent, (B) one or more surfactants selected from nonionic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants and anionic surfactants and (C) a specified amide alcohol respectively in a specified proportions.
