METHOD TO SEPARATE LEAD FROM GLASS WASTE INCLUDING LEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to collect only iron constituents selectively from a glass waste including lead oxide, thereby not only rendering the remaining constituents harmless but also recycling the glass constituent. SOLUTION: This is a treatment method of glass waste that makes it a feature to treat glass waste containing lead oxide with a high temperature and high pressure alcohol to deoxidize a lead constituent the glass so that it is concentrated to the glass surface. After it is cooled, it is cleaned with acid or washed with a solution containing a complex compound. Then only lead is melted and separated.
