PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify hair thinning. SOLUTION: Since thirty several years ago, a brand cut technique has been systemized in Europe and has given big influence to world techniques. At the beginning of 1990s, they start to feel some kind of limitation in standards. Since Oriental hair has a large volume, it is needed strongly to create lightness and movement by thinning techniques. It is required to make hair of a large volume easy to care by hair thinning techniques. The volume down of hair and creation of the movement of hair end become easy by four functions of thinning up/down and to the right/left by line thinning. A U-shape for creating the lightness of a side face and a V-shape for creating the movement of hair end from the base to the medium part of a vertical direction are created.
