PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular substance removing filter having a simple structure, easy to manufacture and facilitating the removal of a granular substance. SOLUTION: The granular substance removing filter comprises a cylindrical outer frame part 2 and a plate-shaped filter part 3 arranged in the outer frame part and the filter part 3 has a honeycomb sheet structure. The filter part 3 consists of a support plate 6 having air permeability, the filter layer 8 mounted on the side surface of the support plate and formed from a fiber layer having meshes finer than those of a fabric or nonwoven fabric forming the support plate and the coating layer deposited on the support plate and the surfaces of fibers forming the filter layer by a vapor phase vapor deposition method. Further, a gas inflow port 27 is provided between the filter parts and a gas outflow port 28 is provided to the downstream end of the filter part 3.
