PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer capable of composting materials to be treated while effectively drying. SOLUTION: Hot air blowing openings 10a are installed in the inside of a fermenter 1 and hot air generated from a hot air generating device 10 is directly blown into the inside of the fermenter 1 through the hot air blowing openings 10a, and thereby vaporization of water from the treating garbage is activated and the garbage is dried. Then a status value of the inside of the fermenter 1 is detected with a status value detecting sensor 18 installed in the fermenter 1, and a control circuit 19 is installed for adjusting the status value to a set value, thereby realizing acceleration of fermentation and energy saving operation.
