PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit for hanging laundry on a rack for drying clothes at a low position and elevating the clothes pole to an optional height by a hand-operating handle or a motor. SOLUTION: After laundry is hung on the drying bar at the low position where laundry is easily hung, the drying bar is easily elevated to the prescribed height via the hand-working handle or the motor. In the same way, the laundry is taken-in at the low position by a simple operation.
