PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a salad enabling the eating of a large amount of raw green vegetables in delicious state while keeping the nutrients of the vegetables. SOLUTION: The salad having unique palatability is produced by freezing raw green vegetables, thawing the vegetables at or below normal temperature, removing the liquid generated in the thawing of the vegetables, adding various subsidiary food materials to the vegetables to improve the preservability and deliciousness and packing the product together with a cold keeping agent. This invention further provides a method for the production of the salad. |
