PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waist belt, effective in relief of the lumbago by fixing the lumbar part in the upper half of the body including a pelvis using a relatively narrow- width belt regarding the waist belt which makes the lumbar part be stable and reduces the lumbago by winding it around the lumbar part to fix in this inventory. SOLUTION: In the waist belt which is constituted with a main belt having the ability to be wound around the lumbar part which consists of the waist reliance section and the both-sides section, and an auxiliary belt having an engagement means with which its one end is fixed to the waist reliance section of the above main belt to extend horizontally and each other end of the engagement means is engaged with the flank of the above main belt in a removable-free manner, two or more hard, narrow pieces for reinforcement is fixed to the neighborhood of the center of the above main belt in the width direction of the above main belt as well as curving so that the above pieces for reinforcement may bulge inside. Curved thin tabular plastics can be used for such reinforcement. The auxiliary belt consists of two thin bands, divided up and down, are overlapped each other partially and the other end of the auxiliary belt is formed in such a manner that the edges of the above two thin bands are joined in piles.
