FLOOR NOZZLE FOR ELECTRIC VACUUM CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor nozzle of an electric vacuum cleaner surely guiding dust into the floor nozzle and improving dust collecting performance even for the electric vacuum cleaner with weak suction force. SOLUTION: The floor nozzle of the electric vacuum cleaner is provided with a suction port 3 sucking the dust together with air, a rotary brush 1 raking up the dust and a ventilation path 4 communicating the suction port 3 to a blower. A guiding member 2 constituted so as to bring a tip part into contact with the floor surface by gravity or spring force for guiding the dust to the ventilation path 4 is provided behind the rotary brush 1. The dust spattered parallelly to a surface to be cleaned by the rotary brush 1 is surely guided to a dust collecting part inside the floor nozzle by the guiding member 2 and the dust collecting performance is improved even for the electric vacuum cleaner with weak suction force.
