PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a modesty panel of a cabinet by bringing the modesty panel into mutual close contact with right and left side plates, and fixedly take a frontage between the right and left side plates as a prescribed width. SOLUTION: In the cabinet wherein a modesty panel 5 is mounted between right and left side plates 7 after a top board 2 is placed on a top surface from the front of a cabinet body, the modesty panel 5 is mounted from a front surface between the side plates 7 of the cabinet, and a tapered pin 8 fixed to an inner surface of the side surface 7 is relatively inserted into a guide hole 16 of a modesty-panel fitting 13, in order to hold the modesty panel 5 by bringing the modesty panel 5 into close contact with the side plates 7.
