PREVENTING AND/OR THERAPEUTIC AGENT FOR COCCIDIOSIS CONTAINING MIXTURE OF SULFAQUINOXALINE(SODIUM) AND TRIMETHOPRIM AS EFFECTIVE INGREDIENT

PURPOSE: An agent for prevention and treatment of coccidiosis of animal, especially domestic fowl containing a mixture of sulfaquinoxaline(sodium) and trimethoprim having a synergic effect thereof and an excellent effect of suppressing expression of resistance to coccidium is provided which is improved in solubility in water and dose not cause the plugging near a nozzle. CONSTITUTION: This preventing and/or therapeutic agent for coccidiosis contains sulfaquinoxaline(sodium) and trimethoprim in a ratio of 1:1 to 10:1 and additionally one or more of antiinflammatory and analgesic agents, antipyretic agent and bleeding inhibitor and is a liquid with a pH of 7 to 12, powder or granule.
