PURPOSE: An elevator controller adopting a dual port RAM(Random Access Memory) is provided to improve information transfer efficiency by respectively accessing data from a control microcomputer and an inverter through a dual port RAM, to block noise, to enhance the controlling speed of an elevator by increasing the communication speed, and to cut down the prime cost by moduling the control microcomputer and the inverter in a board. CONSTITUTION: A dual port RAM(110) is for the sharing of data accessing. A control microcomputer(120) blocks the simultaneous data accessing of one address of the dual port RAM by outputting a timing signal and accesses the data with response to the control signal of an elevator to the dual port RAM. An inverter(130) drives a motor(140) by outputting a driving signal for driving an elevator car with response to the output of the control signal accessed to the dual port RAM and accesses the data corresponding to the driving state of the motor to the dual port RAM with response to the timing signal outputted from the control microcomputer. The microcomputer detects the position of the elevator car by using the pulse signal outputted from a pulse generator(150).
