PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium whereon a wobble signal including header information is recorded, a recording method of the wobble signal, a recorder, a reproducing method of the wobble signal, and a reproducing device. SOLUTION: This device for recording the wobble signal on the optical recording medium has such a feature that a wobble signal producing part 4 for producing the wobble signal of single frequency including the edge modulated header information thereon based on a 1st signal and 2nd signal having different edge waveforms of the same frequency and a recording part 5 for recording the wobble signal produced by the wobble signal producing part 4 on the optical recording medium are furnished.
